Service Queen is a 20-minute Bouffon-style performance unraveling the story of a sex worker mermaid. A seriously satirical study of cigarettes, sex work, and the sea, the show stars a washed-up, fishy blonde bombshell on the hunt for her next client — or kill. Service Queen plays in the space where trauma, humor, and spectacle meet.The piece invites the audience to laugh — until they can’t.
